About the event
The full-day Narativ Personal Storytelling workshop was created by Murray Nossel PhD, author of 'Powered By Storytelling', and Paul Browde MD in New York City in the early 2000s. It is facilitated in London by theatremakers Dan Milne and Jane Nash (Complicite, the National Theatre, Young Vic, RSC). The day draws from anthropology, psychology, performance and neuroscience to teach the art of listening, as well as essential tools to build and tell compelling and vivid stories.
In this highly experiential environment participants are led through collaborative games and exercises that develop specific skills of successful storytelling. Workshop participants work on two of their own stories, learning to connect with their audience, to reflect on their experiences in memorable ways, and to become more effective communicators.
Whether you are exploring your personal story to make a piece of art, for advocacy or personal development, or working on a professional story for leadership or career development, this workshop is designed to give you the tools to succeed!
